Job DetailsJob Location: Lebanon, OH 45036Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $11.25 - $11.25 HourlyPOSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Motion Zone Assistant is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of pre-teens who use the Motion Zone facility; oversees and assists users with computers, exergame equipment and video games. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Willingness to professionally interact with pre-teens ages 7-13 who are the primary users of the Motion Zone. Punctual, reliable attendance. Maintains a safe and healthy environment in the Motion Zone area; light cleaning is involved. Knows and follows the Motion Zone Policies and Procedures. Monitors the Sign-in and Sign-out sheet. Posts necessary information to ensure the safety and well-being of users Performs other related duties as assigned. QualificationsEDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum 16 years of age, prior experience working with children is preferred.
