Controls Design Engineer II (LV/MV Design, PLC, HMI, DC Systems)

Job description

Job Summary: The Controls Design Engineer II provides the electrical/controls design on product improvements for electrical/controls infrastructure of our manufactured product lines as well as coordinate site wide drawings as applicable per site/project. These design activities are to provide assurance that our equipment/sites/projects are being built and/or applied per engineering documents, manufacturing and other required standards, such as UL and NEC. The main goal is the safety, quality, functionality, and overall conformity of our products. This position’s work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills): - Electrical Engineering Degree required - 4+ years of related experience producing electrical design packages with a focus on industrial controls systems. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as: construction drawings, single lines, product manuals, control drawings, work instructions, written directions, and markups to electrical/control drawings. - Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills with a desire for con...
