About Fathom Fathom is an AI non-profit building the solutions we need to thrive in an AI world. Our mission is to find, build, and scale the solutions needed for our transition to a world with AI. We push to go beyond conceptualizing solutions—striving to actually make them happen. We do this work through extensive convening, listening, and research, paired with a culture of execution, operational excellence, and a builder's mindset. With $25 million in initial funding, we're positioned to turn this vision into reality by building a team that brings together deep subject matter expertise with a "doer" mindset to create and build together the world we collectively want to see. Position Overview: The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will play a pivotal role in leading Fathom's technical strategy and initiatives, with immediate focus on successfully launching our Multi-stakeholder Regulatory Organization (MRO) project. This executive position requires a visionary leader who can translate complex technical concepts into actionable standards and policies, build robust technical partnerships, and establish Fathom as a thought leader in the AI governance space.
