This position serves as a personal guide, and liaison for individuals with substance use disorders identified in WVU Health System affiliated treatment settings. The recovery coach supports patients by assisting them with identifying treatment needs, developing, maintaining, and monitoring individualized treatment plans, and supporting patients to remain in treatment. The recovery coach’s duties include providing outreach, support, recovery check-ups on site in treatment settings, in the community and functioning as part of a treatment team. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent 2. S ubstance Use Disorder Peer Recover y Certification (PRSS-SUD) through the West Virginia Certification Board for Addiction and Prevention Professionals ( WVCBAPP ) 3.
