Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC: - Position will be filled as an Apprentice 3rd Step - Journeyman Lineman depending on experience of selected candidate. APPRENTICE 3RD YEAR: JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Under close and/or directive supervision, and following prescribed routine and instructions as to methods and working details of average difficulty and importance, must know, understand and be willing and able to apply all applicable Company construction specifications in order to perform the less complicated tasks on high and low voltage line work involved in the construction and maintenance of electric transmission and distribution conductors, structures and equipment, and be qualified to do the following and related work as assigned: 1. Use hot line tools under close supervision of qualified workman. 2. Under close and/or directive supervision may be allowed to cover and work energized circuits when they and their supervisor are confident that this can be done safely. 3. Fuse transformers and sectionalizing fuses. 4. String, sag and tie in conductors on dead lines of all classes. 5. Install all types of transformer installations, make tap changes and ins...
