Job Title: Child Care Attendant Department: Fitness: Reports to: Youth Program Director: Job Type: Non-Exempt: Arch Amenities Group Job Summary: The Before And After School Counselor/Child Care Attendant is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children before or after school . The SACC counselor will supervises play, ensures children's safety, and promotes positive social interactions in accordance with program and facility guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Supervision & Safety - Actively monitor and care for children age 5 to 12 years - Maintain a clean, secure, and child-friendly environment. - Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures. Engagement & Interaction: - Organize and lead age-appropriate activities such as games, arts and crafts, story time, and free play. - Promote a positive and respectful atmosphere among children. - Provide comfort and basic care for children as needed (e.g., illness , conflict resolution).
