Overview: Salem State University's Art + Design Department seeks a dedicated Graphic Design Laboratory Assistant to support our thriving creative community. The Graphic Design Laboratory Assistant oversees the operation and maintenance of all facilities instrumental to the effective delivery of the department’s graphic design curriculum. Facilities include two graphic design computer labs and a print production lab. The laboratory assistant is responsible for ensuring that the physical space is functioning to the highest degree while working with university personnel on maintenance, upgrades and inventory. In addition to the lab management and production support, the laboratory assistant advises faculty on curriculum development while also providing instructional support for students.
