Job description

Overview Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends)POSITION PURPOSE:Provides needed information, education and support to families at assigned schools. Works with staff at assigned schools to contact parents and build relationships that foster family involvement in their children's education. Builds relationships with community agencies that will enhance parent’s ability to guide parents toward needed resources.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)▪Working knowledge of community programs/resources;▪Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google Apps;▪Excellent customer service skills;▪Effective time management skills;▪Strong organizational skills;▪Ability to work in a team environment;▪Ability to work independently and complete tasks in the absence of clear direction;▪Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the proper flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback;▪Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, and vendors.EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND E...
