Job description

Location Qualifications: Ghent (hybrid, 2 days in the office) Position Overview: The accountant is responsible for day to day accounting tasks with a main focus on Accounts Payable (PO’s, invoices, expenses and payments) and monthly closing. The accountant is able to support and assist the junior accountant if needed and review completed tasks by the junior accountant. The accountant is responsible for answering questions from employees, vendors or other third parties. Fostering effective working relationships with external vendors, auditors, consultants as well as internal partners including People Operations, Workplace and Revenue Operations is key for this role. The accountant is committed to continuous learning and innovation, is open to take over additional responsibilities, volunteers to take ownership of extra projects and is able to provide backup support to the manager.
