Job description

Furnishings Manager (2+ years thoroughly documented & relevant work experience) - No license/certification needed - Ability to manage, inventory and distribute furnishings located in warehouse and 12 dormitories. - Ability to conduct physical inventories as described in AFI 32-6000, CE Housing Management. - Ability to request, receive, issue, store, and coordinate delivery and pickup of all Government-owned furnishings used in authorized facilities within established timelines. - Ability to identify and report suspected abuse or loss of property for items damaged, destroyed, or lost. - Ability to purchase, receipt, issue, installation, warranty tracking, maintenance, repair, and replacement. - Ability to prepare and update annually one- and five-year long-range furnishings plans. - Ability to submit furnishings budgets to the Housing Chief as required. - Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle, navigating throughout Dyess AFB on both paved and gravel roads.
