Lead Welder

Job description

Description: - Maintain a high attention to safety, quality, and productivity in the welding/fabrication area - MIG and Stick welding, must know how to use the torch and rosebud operation. - Familiar with metals, steel and fabrications. - Oversee all the container/Baler repairs. - Rebuilding of truck bodies, roll-off containers and front-load containers. - instructions on work orders and shop drawings and verify material and work for accuracy - Prepare and process all paperwork necessary to complete orders - Order and maintain necessary levels of shop and welding supplies - Maintain equipment by following required preventative maintenance schedules and documenting tasks - Able to interpret drawings, layouts, plan work and use sound judgment. - Observe safety procedures, assure self and others safety and report any safety issues - Properly stack processed material and pack as required in preparation for shipping. - Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Supervise direct reports and schedule work - Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Job Type: Full-time, In-Person.
