Job DetailsJob Location: Los Angeles, CA 90013Salary Range: $17.87 - $18.51 HourlyThe Restroom Attendant /Homeless Community in-reach staff is a new position that The Midnight Mission deems vital to providing a safe, clean, secure, trauma-free restroom for people who are experiencing homelessness on the streets of skid-row. The restrooms will be in use 24 hours 7 days a week, 365 days a year. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Security, provide a safe, clean, secure trauma-free restroom and perform various janitorial cleaning duties within The Midnight Mission courtyard and adjacent restrooms. Sweep and mop floors, collect and dispose of trash, re-stock dispensers as needed, wash walls, clean and sanitize face bowls, urinals, toilets and showers after each use, and provide towels and hygiene items to guests showering. Provide friendly customer service to guests' inquiries. Ensure restrooms are not being used for inappropriate activities such as drug use or sells, smoking, loitering, or other activities.
