*** This is a Temporary Position from 5/17/2026 to 8/14/2026*** Job Summary: The Food Service Worker 1 performs a variety of duties relating to food services and catering. Aids in overall cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area. Maintains proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards. Transports food and equipment to various sites around the campus. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED preferred. Minimum one year of food service experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and understanding of food safety regulations. Able to move with agility to transport equipment; maintain hand and finger dexterity to perform basic maintenance tasks; follow general safety protocols. Able to work professionally with colleagues in a manner that generates mutual respect and a positive working environment; work with limited supervision. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; accept direction.
