About This Role Directly supervises Technical / Business Support and/or Production / Maintenance employees in Materials Planning and SIOP supporting Viessmann Climate Solutions at our Rhode Island facility. Plans and sets day-to-day operational objectives, including storing and shipping of products, planning activities, responding to inquiries, and checking quality of work. Prepares inventory control reports and manuals. Management: Responsible for warehouse employees i.e., safety, training, and development and goal setting Manage warehouse employees to support company sales demand in an efficient and organized manner Daily prioritize and direct receiving, production, shipping and storage processes Maintain relationships with freight and parcel carriers, negotiate rates as needed Support company goals and initiatives by leading the team in executing directives from senior management Warehouse: Ensure all goods received, incoming and outgoing quantities, are verified, free of defects, and accurately processed in SAP Decide on the most cost-effective pricing for shipments, and verify against bills received Coordinate trucks and bills of material Manage freight claims: Receive, tag, a...
