Maintenance Technician

Job description

Description The Maintenance Tech is responsible for repairing, installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams. This will be accomplished through the safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. This position also requires that the Maintenance Tech troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. The Maintenance Tech is also responsible for repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines. - Repair automated machinery maintenance and equipment - Support and complete predictive and preventative maintenance tasks and maintain documentation - Troubleshoot mechanical machine problems - Understand machine setup and operation - Spare parts selection and procurement - Maintain building equipment, such as HVAC or plumbing, possibly through contractors - Provide building maintenance as required - Basic machining and fabrication - Ability to work to blueprints, sketches, etc. - Program and modify PLC programs (Allen Bradley & Siemens) - Create and/or modify FANUC and ABB Robot programs - Provide effective a...
