Job description
At Rethink Mental Illness, we believe everyone severely affected by mental illness has the right to be heard, understood and involved in decisions about their life. As a Bank Multi-Disciplinary Advocate, you’ll be right there beside people — and firmly on their side — helping them understand their rights, explore their options and make their voices heard. This is a varied, people centred role where no two days are the same. You’ll provide statutory and non-statutory independent advocacy to adults (and children where appropriate) across Wandsworth and Richmond, working in the community and in a range of settings including hospitals, care homes, supported living, secure units and people’s own homes. You’ll manage your own caseload and diary, working independently while being part of a supportive and experienced advocacy team.
