Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: The Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life (DFSL), within the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Maryland, provides advising, programming, and comprehensive support to the fraternity and sorority community. DFSL supports over 50 chapters across four governing councils: the Interfraternity Council (IFC), Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and Panhellenic Association (PHA). The department also manages 21 University-owned chapter houses that provide a live-in residential experience and dedicated program space for chapter members. DFSL is supported by a team of 35 full-time and student staff members and serves as the primary liaison between the fraternity and sorority community, their alumni, and University administration. The Associate Director of Residential Experience and Housing Operations provides senior leadership for fraternity and sorority housing within the department.
