Location: Cambridge, UK – (This position can accommodate flexible working options. However, candidates must be based (or be willing to relocate) within a comfortable commuting distance of our Cambridge office to be able to attend onsite as required) This is an 18-month fixed term contract. Are you a technically minded game designer with a deep love of Old School RuneScape and a passion for building smart, scalable systems? As a Technical Designer within the Old School RuneScape Design team, you’ll play a key role in designing and implementing engaging content with a strong focus on technical foundations. You’ll combine creative design thinking with scripting expertise, ensuring content is not only fun and memorable, but technically sound and efficient within the OSRS engine. Working in small to medium-sized multi-disciplinary teams, you’ll help shape weekly game updates for one of the world’s most community-driven MMORPGs, while continuously expanding your knowledge of our systems, engine capabilities, and in-house tools.
