Job description

Overview The Systems Engineer III provides systems engineering services to all projects under the management of CPE IEW&S for the Capability Program Executive, Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Sensors (CPE IEW&S) Program Management Offices. Responsibilities: · Provides acquisition management advice and recommendations based on a comprehensive understanding of all Adaptive Acquisition Framework Pathways (Urgent Capability Acquisition, Middle Tier Acquisition, Major Capability Acquisition, Software Acquisition, and Defense Business Systems), MIL HDBK 245 (Handbook for the preparation of SOW), and MIL HDBK 61A (Configuration Management). · Coordination with CPE Headquarters staff (i.e., budget, systems engineering, logistics, and contracts planning) to identify, prepare, review, and track approval of program documentation. · Prepare, review, and staff engineering and programmatic documents, such as: Systems Engineering Plan, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, Information Support Plan, Program Protection Plan, Materiel Release Package, and Cybersecurity Strategy. · Participate in technical reviews, including events leading to the review, and events after the review, such as: Softwar...
