Job Description: Winchester Hospital is a distinguished 5x Magnet designated, Top Massachusetts recognized 226-bed regional hospital, serving as the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. We are currently seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to contribute to our mission by performing essential duties, including: Supporting the patient care team in medication dispensing. Restocking clinical unit automated medication dispensing stations by visiting assigned patients. Preparing I.V. antibiotics and compounding admixtures under the direction of the pharmacist. Delivering medications to patient units and other Winchester Hospital locations that are not stocked in the automated medication dispensing stations. Assisting pharmacists in responding to phone calls from clinicians regarding patient medication requests. Replacing Pyxis station narcotic stock on patient care units daily and obtaining proper sign-off from clinicians.
