Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Job description

Lead and support comprehensive manufacturing engineering activities within assigned cell(s), including driving lean manufacturing initiatives, implementing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), optimizing inventory location assignments, conducting thorough contract reviews, developing clear shop floor instructions, analyzing and validating labor standards, and overseeing capital equipment and facility upgrade projects. Requirements: Qualifications: - Provide manufacturing engineering supervision, ensuring that manufacturing cells are properly supported. - Work effectively as a team member to ensure operational metrics are achieved and any remedial action is actively pursued. - Maintain current updates on manufacturing engineering related tasks. - Represent manufacturing engineering at appropriate meetings and events. - Design or specify any equipment, tooling, or racking required to support manufacturing. - Ensure relevant Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) are properly reviewed within assigned cells or option groups and support all aspects of production implementation. - Ensure default locators are assigned to all parts within assigned manufacturing cells. - Create shop floor instructi...
