Job Summary: This position will be responsible for coordinating the safety activities throughout the facility. This includes being directly responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and continuance of the facility safety, health policies, and procedures . Standard working hours are Monday- Friday 8 am to 5 pm with occasional overtime and weekend hours. Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversees the safety program and initiates steps that will improve the level of safety. - Reviews and updates the safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company goals and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines. - Makes sure all new employees are properly trained . - Reviews safety related documents and narratives such as Safety Committee minutes, inspection reports, forklift inspection checklist, accident investigation reports and near miss reports. - Maintains the OSHA 300 logs....
