Regional EHS Manager

As Regional Safety Manager , you support Health & Safety programs across Plastipak’s manufacturing operations. This is a fully in-office position located our corporate headquarters in Plymouth, MI. You Will: - Provide guidance, direction and support the implementation of EHS programs across US manufacturing facilities; includes environmental, fire protection, and sustainability. - Manage compliance with federal, state and local regulations; performs EHS inspections and audits. - Develop and recommend appropriate engineering or work process modifications to prevent worker illness or injury; provide follow-up assessment of recommendations. - Lead incident investigation and apply various problem solving techniques. - Develop and support the completion of reports, presentations, investigations and recommendations. - Work with manufacturing locations to develop or enhance new safety committees or take leadership role in enlarging the focus/scope of the safety committee's activities. - Work with sites to identify existing or pot...
