About the Role: As an Avionics Engineer, you will have zero to one design ownership of electronic subsystems on our first spacecraft. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing and improving reliable space-ready components. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on spacecraft. Responsibilities: Own avionics system-level design & interfaces and make system-level trades Prototype, design, bring up and validate flight computers, communication systems, and electronics for power systems and ADCS Establish best practices and tooling for electrical engineering design Develop in-house avionics test infrastructure – flatsat, GPS sim, power sim, comms sim, etc. Design and execute avionics qualification testing for vibration, shock, thermal and thermal vacuum environments and own your hardware into flight operation Ideal Qualifications: You’ve designed and validated PCBAs for the space environment or sim...
