Manufacturing Engineer (Mechanisms) Department: Manufacturing: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Redondo Beach: Compensation: $100,000 - $160,000 / year Description: As a Mechanisms Manufacturing Engineer at Impulse, you will be responsible for developing, maturing, and sustaining manufacturing processes for spacecraft mechanisms from prototype through flight production. This role bridges design engineering and the factory floor, ensuring mechanisms are built safely, repeatably, on schedule, and to flight-quality standards. Responsibilities: - Own manufacturing processes for spacecraft mechanisms from prototype through flight production - Develop and maintain work instructions, travelers, and tooling to enable safe, repeatable builds - Partner with design engineering to improve DFM/DFA, reliability, and production readiness - Support hands-on assembly, integration, and test of mechanisms on the production floor - Troubleshoot build and test issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions - Support mechanism-level functional, deployment, and environmental testing - Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and configuration control requirements - Drive continuou...
