Field Service Technician

Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Travel to customer sites throughout the United States and internationally to install, commission, test, calibrate and, train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV Rolligon products. - Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems. - Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate and maintain the system. - Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments. - Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner. - Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or Equivalent. - College or Technical School Degree preferred. - 1-3 years of related on-the-job experience. - Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems preferred. - Electrical background preferred. - Experience in heavy industry or the oil and gas environment preferred. - Possess superb customer service skills and an ability to diagnose and solve problems. - Possess professional, clear, verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently with little supervision and maintain a positive reputation. -...
