Position Overview: - Department: Joining CT Surgery Group, Providing Midlevel support to Surgeons. Requirements include assisting with Cardiac and lung surgery, radial artery harvest, vein harvesting, line replacement and other critical care skills are required. - Schedule: Weekdays Monday - Friday including Rotation in Call Schedule with other midlevels - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham and East - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician - Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures. - Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions. - Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. - Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
