Job Purpose: The Product Support Specialist is responsible for administering manufacturer warranty claims for Herc-owned equipment. This role evaluates equipment failures to determine warranty eligibility, submits and manages claims in accordance with manufacturer requirements, and tracks reimbursement through completion. The specialist works independently once trained and serves as a key liaison between Herc branch personnel and equipment manufacturers to minimize equipment downtime and maximize warranty recovery.
