Job DetailsJob Location: Cullman Regional Medical Center - Cullman, AL 35056Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayJob Summary: Know nuclear medicine studies and radiation safety and follow all state regulations. Perform nuclear medicine studies; determine appropriate isotope required; obtain patient history and review patient condition; transport patients to nuclear medicine rooms. Properly track patients through computer system to ensure proper completion of exams. Administer isotope dosage accurately following established departmental procedures; accurately record dosage administered and observe patients during procedure and report any unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel. Verify correct images are in place and properly verify digital images for interpretations in picture archiving system. Ensure all digital images are available for interpretation. Recognize the need for the control/assessment of pain and falls for patients and help to prevent or reduce patient pain levels and patient falls when possible.
