Internal Job Description OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE: The Offshore superintendent role covers, based on the experience, mainly the function of Offshore Manager/Deputy Offshore manager in the offshore installation sites, with a partial involvement as Installation Engineer in the office work. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Marine Operation Superintendent in the offshore installation sites This part of the role covers the operative execution on all marine installation sites activities for the implementation of a Project. The activity is carried out mainly on installation vessels or more in general, on other marine installation sites, such as landing points, offshore platforms, etc. He/She works in teams of different dimensions depending on the work importance and complexity. Main activities falling under the responsibility of the Superintendent, are including but not limited to: Preliminary works, such as route clearance, PLGR, pre-lay burial runs, mobilization of vessels Cable loading: Cable laying: Cable burial with a wide variety of tools/machines Cable pulling through HDD conduits or onto offshore platforms Cable repair and jointing: Once on site, duties and responsibilities of the Su...
