Printing Maintenance - Maintenance Technician - Shift A (7:30AM - 7:30PM)

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Printing Maintenance Technician provides technical support to the print cell team by ensuring that the machines are maintained and operating at optimum efficiency. Technicians are responsible for changeovers and preventative maintenance on all printing machines, communicating machine issues, reporting performance and repairs to Team Members and Management. They are responsible for completing required documentation, work orders, logbooks and company records. They are also responsible for contributing to a human work environment where fairness, equity and non-discriminatory practices are the standard. POSITION RESPONSIBILITES: ◦ Adjusting the colour head inter roller pressure to ensure that 1/16” line is maintained ◦ Inspection and replacement of machine wearable components as necessary. ◦ Greasing six and eight colour machines every other day. ◦ Clean up grease buildup off of the gears and other parts of the machine. ◦ Ensuring that wash up tray is kept in optimum condition (the general condition of the tray and the cleaning blade). ◦ Regular inspection of filters and monthly replacement ◦ Regular inspection and monthly replacement of exhaust pipe ◦ General mac...
