Description FIC America Corp. is a global tier I automotive components manufacturer centrally located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. We are actively recruiting for a Production Control Manager. Our manufacturing operation supports metal stamping, welding and mechanical assembly. Essential Job Functions: - Act as a liaison between customers and production to ensure the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between or within departments - Planning, preparing, issuing, and controlling production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements - Forecasting production and customer demands - Dealing with unique circumstances and special requests - Problem solving in regards to shipping errors, material shortage, new project launches, and cancellation of orders - Analyzing inventory usage, scrap, and shrinkage - Develop long-term goals and strategies to meet business objectives for Hoshin - Execute decisions based on business conditions in congruence with corporate vision - Gather and analyze information from work sites to identify root causes in resolving business issues - Employ 8-Step Problem Solving...
