Department: Cancer Center- Radiation: Shift/schedule: Full Time (40 hrs/wk): GENERAL SUMMARY: Works under the direction and the supervision of the Nurse Manager of Cancer Services and AIC and in close coordination with the Lead Therapist. The registered radiation therapist's primary job function is to administer daily radiation treatments, perform CT/simulation as directed and facilitate schedules and documentation in the MOSAIQ EHR. Education: Licensure: Experience: - High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required - Associate Degree in Radiography required; and completion Radiation Certification Program required, or - Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy required - Ohio(T) required - ARRT(T) required - Ohio(R) preferred - ARRT(R) preferred - BLS/AED within 90 days of hire required - One year on the job experience to learn the operation of departmental equipment and department policy and procedures preferred.
