Description The University of Chicago’s Departments of Radiation and Cellular Oncology and the Department of Pharmacy seek full-time Clinical Pharmacist-Scientist faculty members at the rank of Assistant Professor. The focus of the appointees should be in radiobiology, cancer immunology, investigational drugs services and clinical pharmacology as it relates to cancer and metastasis. These are envisioned as joint appointments with clinical duties in the Department of Pharmacy and a research program integrated with and supporting ongoing research programs in the Department of Radiation and Cellular Oncology. If appropriate , secondary appointments will be available with other academic departments and units including The Ben May Department for Cancer Research, The Committee on Cancer Biology, and The University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center. Appointees will provide clinical pharmacy services with a primary focus on Investigational Drug Services (IDS) and clinical trial protocol management.
