Public Agency Resources (PARS), a subsidiary of Willdan, currently has an opening for a remote, part time, Plan Check Engineer in the Orlando, Fl area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Examines plans and specifications for buildings and structures for completeness and conformity with all code requirements for the following design elements: Architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, energy conservation regulations (Title 24), Green Building Standards, accessibility and Egress. - Coordinates the review of plans with public agencies whose approval is necessary; itemizes required correction and modification and explains them to permit applicants. - When requested, authorizes the issue of building permits for plans that meet building code...
