Job description

We are seeking a tech-savvy and customer-focused Triage Nurse to join our Otolaryngology practice. As a Triage Nurse, you will serve as the first clinical point of contact for patients, providing telephone-based assessment, education, and care coordination for ear, nose, and throat (ENT) concerns. Responsibilities include evaluating patient symptoms, determining urgency of care, scheduling appointments, offering self-care instructions, and escalating urgent cases to providers as needed. This role requires strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to manage multiple calls while maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and experience using electronic medical records and scheduling software.
