Job description

Job Summary/Overall Objectives Plans, directs, coordinates and evaluates the overall patient care provided in the different Perioperative Departments at Independence Health System. This includes the operating room, short stay, PACU and Central Sterile. They are responsible for the management of supplies, equipment and operational and capital budgets. Ensures routine competencies are completed and develop and implements on-going education specific to each department. Provides yearly performance evaluation and assists in setting goals for staff. Position oversees staff based in hospital environment and Laurel Surgery Center.
