Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (HBHH) currently has an opening for Full-Time Maintenance Technician, Monday-Friday. 8a-5p. The maintenance technician will report to the Director of Plant Operations. Responsibilities Include: Repairs: - Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards - Performs light maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs, inspect circuit breaker panels etc.) - Maintain plumbing systems to ensure functionality - Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed - Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary - Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.) Facility Upkeep: - Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorat...
