What you’ll need to succeed as an Assistant Service Center Manager at XPO Minimum qualifications: - At least 5 years of LTL freight management and/or service center management experience - Thorough knowledge of and experience with the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, transportation rules and regulations, OSHA standards, hazardous materials regulations, NMFC and Tariff rules and company policies and procedures - Experience with Microsoft Office - Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record - Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends and to travel as needed Preferred qualifications: About the Assistant Service Center Manager job - Bachelor’s degree, 5 years of related work or equivalent military experience - Experience with process improvement and the use of Lean and/or Six Sigma - Forklift experience - Demonstrated ability to prioritize work with excellent organizational skills - Strong interpersonal and management skills and able to effectively lead, coach and influence employees - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for the inten...
