Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Health & Wellness Companion: - Provides companion services for seniors in the community. Companion services are non-skilled, non-nursing services that do not provide hands-on support. - Duties may include the following types of responsibilities: - Housekeeping - Shopping and errands - Meal preparation - Laundry, ironing - Pet care such as dog walking, litterbox care, and pet supply shopping - Transportation and escorts to appointments and social events - Companionship and entertainment - Home organization and seasonal decorating - Move-in and move-out assistance such as packing and unpacking - Trash removal - Communication and support related to sensory loss (low vision, hearing) - Tech support such as setting up, trou...
