Job DetailsJob Location: South Side Health Center - St. Joseph, MO 64504Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayDescribed Duties: 1. Work cooperatively with Northwest Health Services (NHS) providers, supervisors, and personnel to carry out the goals and objectives of NHS according to governing body requirements and established internal policies and procedures. 2. Treat others respectfully whether it is a patient, fellow employee, member of management, customer, vendor or visitor to our premises. 3. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards in accordance with physician, psychiatrist or APRN directives. 4. Assist patients to ambulate, assist patients onto and off of exam tables, and in and out of wheel chairs. 5. Assist physician, psychiatrist or APRN in distributing appropriate patient education materials, and communicate that information to the patient in a tactful and professional manner. 6. Prepare lab specimens for shipment, as requested. (Pap smears, biopsy, cultures, etc.) 7.
