Description Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an Instrumentation & Control Technician to join our team. Field Automation Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities include participating with our customers in: - Automation process control instrumentation and equipment startup - Verifying, troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation and equipment communications - Inspecting instrument wiring, power and grounding of installation using a process meter - Setting up instruments with Hart 475 or TREX field communicator - Able to read P&ID’s for process control configurations - Work with onsite installation crew - Replacing/installing instrumentation, RTU, PLC and equipment - Troubleshooting program logic, process control and equipment - Developing a solution to resolve process control from device to SCADA - Installing and calibrating flow measurement equipment (Coriolis, mag meter, mass flow meters, and ultrasonic meters) - Providing management of onsite control project installation and startup activities including construction supervision and supplier coordination - Providing...
