Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Monday through Friday - Hours are 8:30-5pm Position Summary: Oversees the daily operations of the Laboratory department, which encompasses first, second and third shifts with staff located at Mercy Health Muskegon location. Supervises in the planning, directing and evaluating of operations in collaboration with the Manager, including staff development, daily staff assignment of duties, customer service strategies, assistance with performance evaluation, implementing Muskegon's strategic and operational plan, and intra-and interdepartmental communication as well as a liaison with medical staff. Direct reports include Inpatient Lab Assistants. What the Non Technical Lab Supervisor will need: Education - Minimum: High school Diploma/College Education preferred.
