Job Description: ABOUT THE POSITION The Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at the Illinois College of Osteopathic Medicine (IllinoisCOM) is seeking a dynamic and experienced physician educator and leader to serve as founding faculty in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. This full-time position is open to candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor. Academic rank to be determined by The Chicago School & IllinoisCOM Faculty Appointment and Promotion Policy. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated educator, accomplished clinician, and innovative leader with expertise in Osteopathic Principles and Practice within a broad range of specialties including Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Surgical specialties. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of the Patient Centered Osteopathic Practice (PCOP) curriculum which will incorporate all the physical skills and tasks related to being an Osteopathic physician including OMT.
