Job description
Overview The Neuropsychologist I, will provide neuropsychological assessments and, as needed, consultation and psychological treatment services to clients served by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD). Primary clinical responsibilities will be for patients ages 2 years through young adult. Responsibilities: 1. Select, administer, and score psychological and neuropsychological tests to assess intellectual functioning, neuropsychological status, personality structure, interest, aptitudes, adaptive function, and academic achievement. 2. Interpret assessment results with regard to understanding brain-behavior relationships, using findings based on current research in neuropsychological assessment and available evidence-based approaches. 3. Write comprehensive neuropsychological assessment reports including diagnostic interpretations and next step management/strategy plans.4. Participate in weekly case conferences or interdisciplinary staff meetings as needed to discuss and evaluate the diagnoses and treatment/management of patients and formulate rehabilitation plans.5.
