Principal Systems Engineer III (Network)

Job description

ECS is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer III (Network) to work in our Pocatello, ID or Clarksburg, WV office . The candidate shall be responsible for design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, and addressing interoperability issues for all features, components, and application dependencies . This include s switches, firewalls, load balancers, software defined networking, private cloud requirements, etc. Position requirements and duties of the Principal Systems Engineer III (Network): - D esign, implement , and provide ongoing support of the Networking Infrastructure within and between data centers. - S erve as the advanced matter expert for all data center network environments. - C reate and maintain network infrastructure for both bare metal and virtual machines with the appropriate LAN , WAN, vLAN , SDN , firewall and load balancer configurations, using both OEM and third-party tools that include virtual network tools (NSX) and services. - P rovision/configure the required networking for servers and applications. - E valuate, improve, and maintain the information security throughout the data center network infrastructure. - M onitor and correct network issues and cr...
