Impact Acceleration PDRA Research Associate re-use service design: Salary: Spine point 28, £37,694: Contract: 0.8FTE, Fixed Term Contract for 18 weeks The Project: Establishing a compression reuse service with ACS Clothing The need for this project arose from evidence, gathered during Design HOPES project, that 20-25% of prescribed compression garments are wasted. This project will establish a new compression re-assignment (re-use) service for people with lipoedema by working with ACS Clothing. The project aims to exploit the potential of design-led thinking, making, and acting to tackle multifaceted health delivery and net zero challenges efficiently. It will generate tangible outcomes in innovative methods and services, that promote sustainability relevant to people with lipoedema (and may be extended to other medical conditions requiring compression). You will be one of 2 RAs across contributing to the work to establish a re-use service.
