Clinical Trainer, Workplace Violence Prevention

Description JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Trainer provides training to staff at various organization sites through the delivery of Workplace Violence Prevention (WVP) training programs and activities. Participates, in consultation and collaboration with Managers/Coordinators, various unit leadership teams and other relevant stakeholders, in the development and coordination of standardized clinical support and training programs to assist the knowledge transfer of WVP strategies into daily clinical practice. Assists in the setting of priorities, planning, organizing and coordinating training activities to support individual and group learning needs and jointly supports the attainment of project goals and missions. Practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the department as well as the vision and values of the organization. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Degree in Education, or relevant Health Sciences Professional degree, plus two (2) years’ recent, related experience in training and/or group facilitation, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
