Supports the Virginia Department of Corrections’ (VADOC) mission, goals and objectives through the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems in an adult correctional facility. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain the integrity of the existing structures and furnishings. Performs advanced electrical work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of the facility’s electrical systems. Keys data into the Total Maintenance System (TMS) for preventative and inventory purposes. May respond to emergency callbacks for service on a rotating basis.
