Job Title: Commercial Electrical Technician (Journeyman Level) Location: Virginia Beach, VA Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire Shift: Second Shift Pay Rate: Starts at $27.00 + (depending on experience) Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on a variety of electrical systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to interpret plans, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. Primary Duties: - Complete a standard 40-hour work week with overtime as needed - Install and modify electrical systems in compliance with local and national electrical codes - Plan layouts to ensure efficient use of materials and allow for future maintenance access - Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to complete installations - Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems and related equipment - Apply mechanical knowledge when assisting with equipment such as HVAC or refrigeration systems - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including shop and job sites - Travel locally to job sites as required - Follow al...
